Forestry Mulching & Land Clearing in Northwest North Carolina

Forestry mulching clears overgrown land in a single pass. Our skid steers run mulching heads that grind standing trees, saplings, brush, and briars into mulch right where they stand, leaving the material on the ground instead of in a burn pile or on a truck. Medleys Junk Removal & Hauling provides forestry mulching across northwest North Carolina. Call 336-756-2117 for a free look at your property.

What We Clear

Forestry mulching is a way of clearing land, and most people come to us with a problem rather than a technique in mind. These are the jobs we take on across northwest North Carolina:

Overgrown property clearing for land that has not been touched in years
Brush clearing, briars, honeysuckle, and undergrowth
Small tree removal and sapling clearing
Lot clearing and homesite preparation before a build
Fence-line and property-line clearing
Trail clearing, access lanes, and shooting lanes
Hunting property work, including food plot edges
Pasture reclamation and field edge recovery
Right-of-way clearing along driveways, easements, and utility access
Storm and overgrowth cleanup
Selective land clearing, taking out the understory and leaving the trees you want kept

Everything is ground in place and left as a mulch layer, so there is no burning and nothing to haul away. Jobs range from a quarter-acre corner to several acres of grown-up timber.

Why Medleys

We are local, we show up when we say we will, and we quote every job after seeing it rather than guessing. There are no surprise charges and no hidden fees, and the estimate is free including the trip out to look at it.

We also tell you plainly when a job is outside what we take on, rather than accepting it and hoping. That is worth more to most people than a lower number on the phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does Forestry Mulching Cost?

It depends on acreage, how thick the growth is, and how workable the ground is. Light brush clears quickly; heavy growth on steep or wet ground takes considerably longer per acre. We quote once we have seen it, with no surprise charges. Call 336-756-2117.

How Long Does It Take?

Most residential jobs run a day or less. A fence line or small lot is often a few hours, an acre of moderate growth typically a day, and several acres of heavy growth two or three days. We give you a realistic timeline when we quote.

Do You Haul the Material Away?

No, and that is the advantage. Everything is ground in place and left as a mulch layer, so there is no burn pile, no dump trailer, and no disposal fee. If you would rather the material was hauled off, we can quote that separately.
